Cuba Dupa

Cubadupa is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest street festival - bringing Wellington’s street alive with culture, music, dancing and joy for two days in late summer.
It’s also the largest and most dynamic gig that Tauranga Samba participates in.
In 2023 we joined with Hamilton’s Sambatron, bringing Endanger Species to the party.

Carnival Bloco
Samba bands and dancers from about the country - about 220 of us (!) come together to bring the streets of Wellington alive with Samba beats.
